NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING

TOWN OF NEW DENMARK, BROWN COUNTY

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 6:45 p.m. at the New Denmark Town Hall, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2025 BUDGET of the Town of New Denmark, Brown County will be held.  The proposed budget summary is available for inspection at the New Denmark Town Hall.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection by calling the Town Clerk at 920-863-5523 or online at www.TownofNewDenmark.com .

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF NEW DENMARK:   Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 18, 2024 immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed year 2025 budget, which begins at 6:45 p.m. at the New Denmark Town Hall, a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(c) of the Wis. Stats. by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held:

1. To approve year 2025 highway expenditures pursuant to Sec. 81(1)(3) of the Wis. Stats. (required when total highway expenses are expected to exceed $5,000 multiplied by the number of town highway miles).

2. To adopt the 2025 town tax levy to be collected in 2024 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Stats.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING OF THE TOWN OF NEW DENMARK, BROWN COUNTY:  Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 18, 2024 immediately following the completion of the special town meeting of the electors, which shall follow the Public Hearing on the proposed year 2025 budget, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the New Denmark Town Hall, the regular monthly meeting of the town board will be held to conduct official business for the month of November and for the following purpose:

1. For the town board to adopt the Year 2025 Budget for the Town of New Denmark.
